To Meenu,

Yes, Active Isolated Stretching exercises can benefit someone who has undergone breast surgery and axilla incision four years ago. Enough time has passed that such a person can now begin a flexibility training program. There is probably a great deal of scar tissue resulting from the surgeries that need to be reshaped. The scar tissue that has resulted from the surgeries has a causal effect on neck pain. Tightness in the chest muscles will pull on the sternocleidomastoid muscle of the neck (at the front of the neck). This combination can cause forward head posture. The more the head juts forward, the more strain is placed on the trapezius muscles (at the back of the neck). This type of rehabilitation can be addressed well with an AIS expert. I hope you'll get a chance to work with someone that is highly skilled.
Best wishes,
Anthony Ohm

To Jo perry,

Yes, tight hamstrings are a critical area that reduces curvature in the low back. And other areas of importance are the glutes and the psoas. When these three muscles are tight then the pelvis is pulled out of position. Excessive tension coming from these three muscles will reduce curvature in the lumbar spine. In the future, I will post videos on my website documenting the immediate changes that can occur after experiencing AIS treatment. I understand that most textbooks are not mentioning that a tight psoas is a principle factor in causing a flat back. That's why I write these articles and put them on the web. This information is new and poorly understood by the majority of healthcare practitioners. Its the average person with low back pain that needs to learn this information. The average LBP sufferer is depressed and feeling that they are running out of viable options. They are frustrated with conventional treatment. The answers are here in AIS. I hope you'll get a chance to learn more about it.
Thanks for visiting,

Anthony Ohm

To Rich Kaizen,

Sorry to learn that you are suffering with these horrendous migraines. Here's some questions to ask to see if AIS therapy will help you.
Do you feel muscle stiffness in these areas: chest, triceps, deltoids, rhomboids, sternocleidomastoid neck muscle, scalene muscles, trapezius, and jaw muscles?

If you feel like you have tension in more than a few of these areas (neck, chest, upper arms, upper back, jaw), then what do you have to lose by trying AIS treatment for your migraines?
The two most common reasons that people seek medical advice is headaches and back pain. If medical treatment doesn't work, then you've got to start looking at other possibilites.
Muscles pull on the skeletal frame. And nerves run under or through muscles. So if a series of muscles are shortened, this could be the cause of migraine head pain.
I am suggesting that there is an solution for migraine pain. Something that is completely different, a new approach for migraine therapy.
Best regards,
Anthony Ohm

To Gaetan,
There are only a small number of AIS experts in the world. It sounds like you need to go to someone that is highly skilled. And you will have to travel if you want to try this modality.
Paul Elliot is in Canada. I think he is in Montreal? His telephone number: 514-792-5595. Tony Ciucci is in Massachusetts. His telephone: 508-965-0541

Good wishes,

Anthony Ohm

Dear Janet Kafka,

There's a shortage of good AIS practitioners. Not every city, state, or country has them. I don't know of anyone personally in Dallas. As far as San Diego, I would be the closest practitioner to that region. And I am in Santa Monica.
I'll be back to Southern California in mid April, 2012. There's a chance that I'll start working out of a Costa Mesa office a few times per month.
Best regards,
Anthony Ohm

Hello Rahesh Kharb,

There are no Active Isolated Stretching practitioners in India yet. So you have to do what's available in your region. That would be ayurvedic medicine.
Try it. Try different people and see if it helps.

Best regards,

Anthony Ohm

Hi Jennylyn,

I'll be in Honolulu, Hawaii during February, March, and part of April 2012 if you would like to see me for treatment.
There's a practitioner in Manilla. His name is Chris Watts. His website is stretchasia.com
The website points to Hong Kong, but he recently started an office in Manilla.
Hope you improve,
Anthony Ohm
